Derek Mehraban of Ingenex Digital Marketing, has given four other students and myself an amazing opportunity to be interns at Ingenex. During this internship, we will be learning the dimensions of digital marketing with a hands on approach. So far, during the first two weeks, we have been learning about search engine optimization through the use of social networking sites such as linkedin.com and ecademy.com. What amazes me about these websites is the ease to which one can network, find job opportunities, or simply browse other professionals profiles. Even more importantly, these websites give people the opportunity to be discovered and understood with ease as professionals. Of these websites, I have found that at first Linkedin.com was my favorite. But as the past two weeks have passed, I have found that people are far more willing and enthusiastic on ecademy.com.
For the entirety of the internship, I am going to be learning digital marketing as a whole and how it will relate to the future of advertising and branding. I am excited at this opportunity to get a close look at how digital marketing will be used and to the limitless opportunities it can present to a person or a brand.

Kevin – nice work. Can you fix your links so they work properly? Also, swap out the links on your blog – see how they link to WordPress. Link them to some important sites you like. Including the ecofriendlyinternship.com site. Thanks!
